Nat, you were my sister before I was old enough to understand what a gift that would become. The older I get, the more I appreciate the decades of ordinary days, family chaos, shared history, and the quiet fact that you have always been there.
Watching you become Auntie Natalie to Adrian and Elliot has made that gift even bigger. They get to grow up with you inside their childhood, and I get to watch my big sister become one of their people.
